Back at it

Dieting is never easy and life will constantly throw you curve-balls.  For me this has happened these passed few month financial issues due to my ex wife and a new job that is a sit down job put my fitness in the back seat.  With that came an extra 30 pounds and now it is time to realize that while it is never a straight run in your fitness goals it is a constant up and down that if you have this struggle you know it is real. So what do we do?

We change with out lives.  Life is cruel it is possible a loved one passes away, you lose a job, or other event that certainly would take priority over your fitness goals.  And you know what?  That is just fine, we do what we can and when it is time to heal and restart it is important that we seize that opportunity.  If that is you today reading this consider it a sign that it is time to start your life.  I’m with you as I am right there, so let’s do this!!

College Professor Gets Pranked

A student in a macroeconomics class at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., decided to play a pretty epic prank on professor Stephen Barrows for April Fools’ last week.

You see, the professor has a policy that if your phone rings during class, you have to answer it on speakerphone. What happens next is awkward and hilarious!

March 11, 2014

Tweet   To The Fatty Running I read this post that praises a woman running, well… sort of.  This inspirational message to the runner is left hollow by starting with insults that all of currently or former overweight people have dealt with far too often. Some people just don’t get it!  The tone of the […]

I Think You Might Be A Zombie

February 18, 2014

Tweet   There is something draining about the repetition of mundane fitness routines. It causes an almost plague like infection… First it was me, and then my friend Dave, and now Julie. We wake up every morning, drink the same protein shake, do the same free weight routine, and run 3 miles on the treadmill. […]
